▣ Current Fall in Oil Prices

Who is in charge of this mess for which we the taxpayers must pay?

Oil Price Increases and Mortgage Liquidity Relationship

Why did the price of oil scream up to $150.00 a barrel and then come tumbling down to under $50 in a six month period? Well, believe it or not it is most likely that this short-term supposedly speculative increase in the oil prices was planned. Now, how and why you ask. Obviously, the governments which directly benefit from the sales of this raw material product, like Saudi Arabia and Canada, knew that the inevitable US economic correction would start a worldwide failure once the related illicit mortgage market failed and that the recovery process would take years. Therefore those oil rich nations had to improve their long-term cash flow by inflating the sales prices for their oil at least for a short-term before most of the nations connected in the inflated mortgage market would have to bail themselves out of that which should have been illegal in the first place and as the cash flow for many froze up there would be a lot less to go around with the first big loser being the oil industry itself.

Ok, now that this approach is made public we have to ask those who are in charge, all of you elected officials, a few questions. To start, first how is it that it took all of you so long before you understood what was happening (and some of you still don’t know what is going on) and then where were did you stand when you learned of this? Now that we the taxpayers are aware of the fraud which you supported and protected what are you going to do about protecting yourselves? We the taxpayers in the U.S.A. cannot do much right now but without any doubt almost every one of you who will be coming up for re-election in 2010 may as well start looking for another job. Oh, and by the way, none of you will be eligible for any of those lucrative business representative jobs which have in the past manipulated elected officers like yourselves as there will be a good chance that you will be personally charged for theft from the taxpayers and when found guilty you could be introduced to a new “Former American Elected Officials Prison” and will end up being there for a period of no less than the time you were in office. Oh, and once this new penalty system is set up you will have to have a real job because you will actually have to work to cover the cost of your keep in this new prison system!

Now, this will take care of the crooked elected officials issue but we must get back to the current and future American consumer issue. What should the price of oil/gasoline/diesel fuel be? This is a major concern most Americans have as almost all of us are affected whether is be due to the vehicles we drive, the transit services we use, the airlines we fly, as well as the plastics and foods which are delivered and fed via this oil based economy, etc., etc., etc. We are all affected. Over time the oil based fuel and chemical related prices will always be set first by the demand side of the curve with increased demand increasing the daily prices of all affected products and over time by the supply. The supply of these naturally created products will always be both declining as there is not an unlimited amount on this planet (it took Mother Nature millions of years to produce that which we will consume in less than 200) and the inevitable increases in prices will be even higher as the costs to recover will only go up for the more hard to get oils. This decline in prices is only short term. As the economies of this world recover the demand side of the curve will again be going up when the supply side will not and so will the prices. The ongoing mess this nation will be continuing with will simply be shifting from a failing mortgage and/or home value problem back to being a cost of energy problem. That is unless the human animals in this world can somehow change and actually begin to prepare for a very different world for our children.
